Previously known as the Double Take Tour, Auckland Museum’ s Heritage Highlights Tour shares the rich history of the Museum, from the early designs and construction.to the building you see today. Hear stories of the architects, see what is inside the wall cavities, and take a closer look at how Auckland Museum has changed over the years and how its structural treasures have been preserved. You will finish up in the Library Reading Room to pore over early plans and photos of the museum over the years, which are not usually accessible to the public.
