FAQ

I am shy about meeting new people and going to events where I don’t know anyone.

We believe you will find us warm and friendly. Committee members make sure you are introduced to others and we will follow up with you after you have attended your first event.

I am not sure the club is what I am looking for.

You can attend one event as a non member. We hope you enjoy the event and that you then decide to join us.

What if there is something I would like to try and I don’t see it on the programme?

Contact any committee member and we will do our best to include it. Committee members\' contact details are listed on the monthly newsletter. Or use the \"Contact Us\" form on the website.

What age group are your members?

We welcome people of any age. Currently the membership is mostly in the 40 to 60 age bracket.

Is this a singles club?

No - we welcome both singles and couples. It’s a great place to make new friends whatever your marital status.

How do I find out what events are coming up? 

We email each member a monthly newsletter showing all the planned events. We also have a copy of our monthly newsletter on our website. Our calendar shows planned upcoming events.

 How do I sign up for an event?        

Just contact the person whose name appears after each event, by phone or email.  

What is the cost of membership?

Initial membership costs $50.00 which includes a $10.00 joining fee and $40.00 for your first year’s subscription. Subsequent years subscription is $40.00 from date of joining.
